Wil is a creative technologist who likes to try and learn to make things, be it on the internet or with music, short films, photos, zines, and oddball sound and video rigs. He’s as at home in a music studio or on a run and gun film shoot as he is at his day job.
Professionally, he has been a web/cloud engineer, founder, product consultant, and engineering leader for San Francisco startups, product engineering teams, fortune 500 companies. and global research engineering teams. He specializes in web software product and engineering teams, organizational theory, scaling orgs, optimizing team workflow and chemistry, building tangibile culture for remote organizations, and process optimization for running a viable and stable product while balancing the need to maintain forward momentum.
Through his new creative company M4RL (Made 4 Real Life), and its subsidiary M4RLvision & cineM4RL projects, Cousin Wil hopes to produce audio/video content and custom made goods — as well as rent affordable audio and video gear in the future!
